Winners at The All-Japan Sambo Championships, which were livestreamed for the first time, will represent Japan in international competitions.

Held for the 49th time earlier this month at the Sumida-Ku Sogo Gymnasium in Tokyo, the competition included sport sambo among men and women, as well as combat sambo among men.

Sport sambo among men had seven weight classes, while the women's section had three weight classes, and the combat sambo had only two.

The Most Valuable Players for the men's sports and combat sambo categories were awarded.

Winners from the All Japan Sambo Championship are expected to participate in the International Sambo Federation World Championships, which are due to be held in Armenia from November 10 to 12 2023.
