Germany dominated the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Junior World Championships on their home track at Winterberg, winning all six titles and 15 of the 18 medals available.

That meant six German representatives earning the places on offer for winners to compete in the IBSF World Championships in St. Moritz from January 23 to February 5.

The four-man bobsleigh piloted by Nico Semmler led a clean sweep of home medals.

Semmler, supported by Marvin Paul, Oliver Peschk and Rupert Schenk, finished 0.15sec clear of the bob steered by Adam Ammour and 0.31 ahead of the quartet steered by Maximilian Illmann.

Pilot Maureen Zimmer and push athlete Lauryn Siebert won the two-woman bobsleigh for Germany, finishing 0.85sec ahead of compatriots Lena Boehmer and Leonie Kluwig, with bronze going to team-mates Charlotte Candrix and Cythia Kwofie at +0.92.

Zimmer also made a successful defence of her title in women's monobob from fellow Germans Charlotte Candrix and Diana Filipszki.
