"The last game was not that good at first, and we were really surprised by them," said Thailand's manager, Fin.

"We were worried a little bit.

"And in an early game we did a lot of mistakes but then we came back strong."

Argentina is set to play Singapore for the bronze medal tomorrow, when the DOTA 2 open medals will also be contested.

The next gold medal of the day then went to Chinese Taipei's GamerBee as he produced a comeback to down Britain's the4philzz in the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition final.

The British player had not conceded a single bout in the tournament prior to the final and began in similar fashion with a rapid 2-0 win.

However, a tactical change ensured victory evaded the4philzz.

"Usually in the tournament, we will lose the first game because sometimes we are still trying to figure out what their strategy is, and you have to do a lot of tests," said GamerBee.

"Doing tests is risky, so sometimes you lose.

"But if you get enough information you can adjust yourself fast enough and that's why I beat him in the end."

GhostChips of New Zealand made up the top three after he beat the United Arab Emirates' GTR to clinch bronze.

Iran's Hasan_Player1 was the final victor of the day at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel following a 2-1 triumph against Brazilian Eduardinho_PR in eFootball 2023.

Eduardinho_PR snatched the first match on penalties before the Iranian drew the scores level in a 3-2 thriller.

He then bagged a comprehensive 3-1 win, with all his goals coming within the first 30 minutes, to ensure he took home the gold medal.

Uruguayan WillyFreire10 won bronze after beating Turkey's home favourite Golaaazooo.
