CS:GO players excelled today to make it into the next rounds at the International Esports Federation (IESF) World Championships in Bali, with Germany and Mongolia set to meet for gold.

Germany came into the next match of the tournament off the back of a 2-1 win over Bulgaria and next played the IESF neutral team, consisting of Russian players.

There were no problems for the Germans who came through the round in straight games 16-13, 19-16.

On the other side of the draw, the Mongolians defeated Romania 16-11, 16-14 to join them.

The hosts had a successful day in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, defeating Argentina 2-0.

Cambodia meet them next following a 2-1 victory over Malaysia.

Malaysia will at least get to fight for bronze following a 2-0 win over Vietnam, with the winner of Philippines and Argentina in tomorrow's fixture confirming their opponent.

Wins came for Laos and Philippines in Dota 2 action too, with the Filipinos beating Thailand in straight games 2-0.

Laos defeated Bulgaria for the other berth.
