The event marked the first time that Scott had competed since finishing in a disappointing 10^th place at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games in February.

The 32-year-old showed no signs of rust, however, as she landed the top jumps in qualification and in both her finals in the women's aerials contest to record an overall score of 99.05.

She beat Canada's Marion Thenault and Zhanbota Aldabergenova of Kazakhstan with ease as they made up the podium on 90.59 and 80.04 points, respectively.

It marked her second consecutive win in Ruka.

"This is huge," Scott said.

"It means a lot to me.

"I love jumping.

"The last four years have been a tough four years, so to come back out here tonight and just be in the number one position and follow that through all night is pretty special to me and I'm super happy.

"It's good for the confidence.

"I want to keep building and get those triples going, get competitive with them as well, but tonight is a nice little confidence booster."

Werner led a Swiss one-two in the men's aerials event with a score of 126.24 while Noe Roth claimed silver on 123.98.

Canada's Lewis Irving then secured third place with 109.29 points.

"It's awesome," Werner said.

"With my team around, we're always having fun and pushing the limits.

"I knew I had nothing to lose after final one because I knew I barely made final two and had to attack and I guess I did it."

Further success was in store for Australia in the women's moguls as Olympic champion Jakara Anthony notched up 81.69 points to beat Frenchwoman Perrine Lafont and Japan's Anri Kawamura.

Both Lafont and Kawamura scored 78.33 but the former won a tiebreak run by 47.2 to 46.1 to win silver.

Mikael Kingsbury of Canada took the men's moguls gold on 84.50 from Japan's Ikuma Horishima and Australian Matt Graham with 80.48 and 80.12 points, respectively.
