Paralympic gold medallists Valentin Baus of Germany and Maryna Lytovchenko of Ukraine added to their successes with title triumphs at the World Para Table Tennis Championships in Spain.

Baus defeated double Paralympic bronze medallist Ali Öztürk of Turkey 11-8, 7-11, 11-5, 11-7 to secure the men's singles class five crown.

Meanwhile, Lytovchenko produced an emphatic performance in the women's singles class six final against former Paralympic champion Katarzyna Marszał of Poland.

Kim Gitae walked away from the competition as the only athlete to win a full house.

The South Korean initially took the mixed doubles title with Seo Yanghee as well as the men's doubles gold medal with Jeong Kyuyoung in class 22.

Then came his solo victory, as he defeated compatriot Kim Changgi 11-7, 11-7, 11-3 in class 11.

Kim's success was just a portion of South Korea's triumphs, with the nation finishing with 10 gold medals, including double Paralympic bronze medallist Yoon Ji-yu winning the women's singles class three title against Croatia's two-time Paralympic medallist Anđela Mužinić.

Yoon swept the match 11-5, 11-6, 11-5.

Three-time Paralympic medallist Kübra Öçsoy Korkut of Turkey took revenge over The Netherlands' Kelly van Zon - the Paralympic champion - 6-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7 to secure the women's singles class seven title following her defeat in the final four years ago in Lasko.

In the women's class 11 final, youth outmatched experience as Tokyo 2020 runner-up and 18-year-old Léa Ferney of France triumphed versus Athens 2004 champion Krystyna Maria Łysiak of Poland, winning 11-6, 11-8, 11-7.

"Our hosts have been outstanding and delivered an unforgettable event," said Petra Sörling, the President of the International Table Tennis Federation.

"I would like to congratulate and thank the Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation and its delivery partners, particularly the Government of Andalusia region and the Municipality of Granada."
