Al-Ammari established himself as the pre-final favourite after finishing top of both qualification standings and the ranking match.

He notched 621.9 to beat Al-Ammari by three points initially before accumulating 255.2 to edge his rival by 1.9 points.

Abdulaziz Al-Anazi made an effort to leapfrog the top-two but he concluded the ranking match on 253.2, which was enough to seal third.

The final started tightly as neither shooter could create an effective lead.

The score soon stood at 10-10 and it seemed Al-Harbi could possibly upset his opponent - and that is exactly what happened.

Possessing the momentum, Al-Harbi went on to win 16-10, a moment which made him visibly emotional.

Elsewhere, Hamza Al-Sayyid was crowned as the men's billiards gold medallist as Khaled Al-Ghamdi and Marlon Kaneda picked up silver and bronze.

In the women's event, Lara Mubarak came out on top and Nada Al-Zahrani settled for silver. 

Naglaa Al-Nuaimi was the bronze medallist.

In Para weightlifting, Adnan Nour Saeed claimed the men's 49kg title and Maysir Al-Alimi followed him in second.

Meshary Al-Debini completed the podium with his bronze-worthy performance.

Hawsawi Worship proved he was the top performer in the men's 65kg class and Amin Al-Salman and Khaled Al-Anzi joined him in the top three with silver and bronze.

Ibrahim Al-Brahim sealed the men's 72kg gold medal, while Aseel Hawsawi and Tariq Balghaith did enough to take cement second and third.

Saeed Hawsawi was the final Para weightlifter to win gold following his success in the men's 88kg.

The silver medal went to Yahya Bawab as Meteb Abu Ardain secured bronze.

Meanwhile, the esports PUGB teams contest saw Al-Khoulod rule supreme throughout, before dropping to third and then surging back to the top spot to claim gold.

Triple eSport, who were their fiercest challenger, settled for silver and Al-Saad cemented bronze.
