The Pacific Games 2023 stadium project site at Honiara in the Solomon Islands has played host to a delegation from the Malaita Province led by Deputy Premier Glen Waneta.

A first official site visit by provincial officials was undertaken by Waneta in company with members of Malaita Provincial Assembly and religious Malaitan elders.

The delegation visited practice fields and the main stadium itself in a tour lasting an hour.

The project team instructed them on all of the construction and the intended national stadium layout.

"Glen Waneta said the site visit gave him and his team a clear picture of the amount of assistance bilateral partners have provided."
