Switzerland’s Alexandra Helbling and Patricia Eachus earned the remaining podium spots in 3:29.97 and 3:30.00 respectively.

Tunisia’s Walid Ktila and Britain’s Hannah Cockroft earned their second wins of the Grand Prix, following the 800m success yesterday.

Five-time Paralympic gold medallist Ktila won the men’s T33/34 100m wheelchair event in 15.25, while seven-time Paralympic champion Cockroft triumphed in the women’s race in 17.36.

Britain’s Emmanual Oyinbo-Coker and Ola Abidogun achieved a one-two in the men’s T47 100m, ending in times of 11.42 and 11.55.

Thailand’s Pongsakom Paeyo won the men’s T53 wheelchair 100m race by finishing in 14.43, with his compatriot Athiwat Paeng-Nuea securing the T54 title in 14.05

The women’s T54 final was won by Mauritius' Marie Emmanuelle Alphonse, who crossed the line in 17.08.

In the field events, Colombia’s Mauricio Valencia and Iraq’s Ahmed Naas earned javelin success.

Valencia won the men’s F34 wheelchair event with a best throw of 35.68m, while Naas took the F40/41/42 title on 39.08m.

Syria’s Wasim Alrezk threw 31.26m to win the men’s wheelchair F54/55 discus event, with Colombia’s Erica Castano Salazar taking the women’s title with a distance of 22.19m.

Her compatriot Yesenia Restrepo Munoz secured victory in the F11/37 discus competition with a throw of 33.75m.

There was further Colombian success in the men’s T36/38 long jump event, where Omar Acosta Soto triumphed with a distance of 5.60m.

Turkey’s Fatma Damla Altin won the women’s T20/37/46/47 long jump with a best effort of 5.41m.

The Grand Prix event is scheduled to continue tomorrow.
