Qualification at the Slopestyle World Cups in Bakuriani in Georgia was cancelled today due to wind and rain.

The competitions are the first events since the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics concluded last month, and are serving as a test competition for the 2023 Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships which will be held at the resort.

Both snowboard and skiing events were scheduled with the qualification now planned for tomorrow.

A number of countries had already opted not to compete and no Olympic medallists are in attendance.

In the men's ski slopestyle, Switzerland's World Cup leader Fabian Bösch is on the start list alongside his compatriot Andri Ragettli, the reigning world champion.

Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic champion Sarah Höfflin of Switzerland is among those down to compete in the women's ski slopestyle, where there are only four athletes in the field.
