However, it is possible for it to go to a new recipient after the first day of individual competition.

The individual events, on February 26 and 27, are due to be preceded by the team competition tomorrow.

Led by Bogataj, Slovenia leads the pack in the Nations Cup with Ema Klinec and Nika Križnar also putting in impressive performances throughout the year to amass 575 and 561 points, respectively.

Overall, they have 2,379 points while Austria's 2,112 points sees them in second and Germany make up the top-three with 1,186 points.

Hinzenbach will host the one and only women's team event of the season while there are five in total for men and two for the mixed team.

Japan's Sara Takanashi, who is sixth in the overall individual table, will miss out on the Hinzenbach event as she has tested positive for COVID-19.

Althaus and Austria's Eva Pinkelnig will also miss out after contracting the coronavirus prior to Takanashi.
