Russia triumphed in the women's team air rifle event on the final day of the International Shooting Sport Federation's (ISSF) 10 metres Grand Prix in Osijek, ensuring they finished top of the medal table.

Yulia Kruglova, Yulia Karimova and Aigul Khabibullina overcame Slovenia's Urška Kuharič, Živa Dvoršak and Klavdija Jerovšek 17-11 in the final at the Gradski vrt Hall, while Ukraine recorded a narrow 16-14 win against hosts Croatia to take bronze.

The victory ensured Russia finished the Grand Prix with three golds, following the success of Artem Chernousov in the men's 10m air pistol and the mixed team air pistol alongside Vitalina Batsarashkina.

Serbia were the only other nation who won more than one gold at a wide-open event, with Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medallist Damir Mikec, Duško Petrov and Dimitrije Grgić earning their country's second victory in the men's team air pistol.

They triumphed 16-14 against Ukraine, while Chernousov was involved in Russia's 17-3 win against Croatia in the bronze medal match.

Serbia thrashed Italy 16-4 to finish third.

The Italians won the day's other final, with Sara Costantino, Brunella Aria and Chiara Giancamilli beating Ukraine 16-6 in the women's team air pistol.

Croatia edged past Russia 16-14 to clinch bronze in the women's team air pistol.

The next scheduled ISSF competition is the rifle and pistol Grand Prix in Indonesia's capital Jakarta from February 8 to 18.
