In the women's event, Westvold Hansen led an all-Norwegian podium with an overall time of 13min 47.4sec in Estonia.

Although she only recorded the fifth-fastest cross-country time, a 127.8-point performance in the ski jumping gave her the advantage over silver medallist and compatriot Ida Marie Hagen.

Hagen finished 49sec behind to pip her countrywoman Marte Lund Leinan by 0.4sec.

The result means Westvold Hansen has now won all four events of the season so far, with five remaining.

Riiber continued his dominance in the men's division, victorious in 23:33.2 to secure his fifth consecutive win.

He has now won six out of the seven events this season with only Terence Weber of Germany finishing top of the podium in Ruka in Finland last month.

Weber's compatriot Fabian Rießle was let down by a 126.9-point ski jump, the 15^th best of the field.

However, he recorded the fastest cross-country time, finishing 33.5sec off the top.

Julian Schmid, also of Germany, took bronze, 33.7sec behind Riiber.

Riiber has extended his lead in the overall standings even further - he sits on 500 points, with Austria's Johannes Lamparter and Weber making up the top three on 341 and 261 points, respectively.

Male and female athletes will head to Ramsau in Austria from December 17 to 19 for the next stop of the season, where the W90-Mattensprunganlage hill hosts competition.
