Russia’s Maxim Burov will seek to maintain his impressive start to the men’s World Cup season.

The defending overall World Cup champion won the opening two aerials events last week.

He could face competition from Switzerland’s Noe Roth, who finished on the podium at both events.

Chinese skiers won the opening two women’s events of the season, with Kong Fanyu and Xu Mengtao winning the respective events.

Xu's triumph gave her a record 26th World Cup win.

China will hope to replicate their success in Ruka, having also triumphed in the opening team aerials competition of the season.
