Lucinda Brand and Denise Betsema of The Netherlands co-lead the women’s International Cycling Union Cyclo-Cross World Cup standings, heading into the sixth round of the season in Tabor.

Brand, riding for Baloise Trek Lions, and Betsema, riding for Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal are both on the start list, and feature among 12 Dutch riders set to compete in the Czech Republic.

In total, 58 riders are set to compete in the women’s elite race, including the winner of the last round Kata Blanka Vas of Hungary of Team SD Worx, who claimed her first World Cup win.

Meanwhile in the men’s race Eli Iserbyt of Belgium, who won on home soil in Overijse in the last round to extend his overall lead to 45 points, features among the 42 scheduled starters in Tabor.

Iserbyt is one of 11 Belgians scheduled to participate in Tabor, with the nation hopeful of repeating their clean sweep from the previous round in Overijse.

On that occasion, Michael Vanthourenhout and Toon Aerts followed Iserbyt on to the podium, and both feature on the start list for Tabor.

As well as the men’s and women’s elite races, action also takes place in the men’s and women’s junior, and the men’s under-23 events.

Last year Tabor featured as the opening round on the Cyclo-Cross World Cup circuit, with Brand and Vanthourenhout taking victories in the men’s and women’s events respectively.
