The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) is set to host its General Assembly on January 28 2022 in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting will coincide with the IMMAF World Championships for senior and junior competitions, which is taking place in Zayed Sports City, also in Abu Dhabi, from January 24 to 29.

In accordance with the IMMAF Statutes, the General Assembly will follow a fixed agenda that is claimed to reflect the governing body's "commitment to the principles of good governance and transparency."

A total of 13 points makes up the programme, including the annual activity report, financial reports, the suspension or expulsion of members and the approval of new members.

The IMMAF World Championships for Seniors and Juniors was originally scheduled to be held in Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan from November 27 to December 4.

However, due to the coronavirus situation in the country, it was relocated to the United Arab Emirates at a postponed date.

The country has reported 17,429 deaths and 1.04 million cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
