The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has confirmed the major esports titles for the Singapore 2021 Global Esports Games (GEG), in the run-up to the first edition of the event later this year.

The Team Preparation Guide Briefing confirmed the GEG will feature PC multiplayer online battle arena (PC MOBA) title Dota 2 by Valve and console titles eFootball PES 2021 by Konami and Street Fighter V by Capcom.

The GEG is set to kickoff with the Opening Ceremony on December 17 and is scheduled to conclude on December 19 2021.

Chester King, GEF vice-president and co-chair of the Technical, Standards & Properties Commission said: "The Global Esports Games will further elevate esports on the world stage.

"We are proud to feature some of the world’s leading esports titles at the first ever GEG. 

"We look forward to gathering our Member Federations and the world’s esports community at the global headquarters of the GEF in Singapore."

The Singapore 2021 GEG will feature demonstration events, showcasing active esports, including Freestriker, developed in collaboration with GEF global partner Refract Technologies. 

Freestriker is an immersive, non-contact virtual sport played using a precise, real-time motion tracking system called AXIS.

The next Team Preparation Guide Briefing will be held on August 26 2021.
