The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has partnered with three universities to boost its education resources, offering opportunities to all its members.

This is in line with the ATP's commitment to promote welfare and development.

MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business, the University of Florida and the Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL) Academy are the three institutions now linked with the men's tennis governing body.

They will offer access to subsidised courses for ATP players, tournaments, agents, alumni and coaches.

Courses will mostly be available online and cover various subject, qualification levels and languages.

Ranked in the top 10 worldwide on The Financial Times' 2021 Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) Ranking, MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business will offer subsidised short courses and post-graduate degrees.

Its i-Flex Executive of MBA two-year course is aimed at professionals who want to combine international studies with work commitments.

The University of Florida is ranked in the top 10 for public universities in the United States, and will offer members the chance to enrol in one of four master's and graduate certificate programmes through its College of Health & Human Performance.

Courses include applied physiology and kinesiology, sport management, health education and behaviour, tourism and hospitality management as well as a graduate certificate in sport event management.

The ICL Academy, an online private school, will allow members to take flexible courses to earn credits and graduate with an American high school diploma.

Novak Djokovic, Monica Seles, Tommy Haas and Vasek Pospisil are all supporters of the ICL tennis initiatives.

"Our vision is for all ATP members to have professional opportunities open to them beyond their time in tennis," said ATP vice-president of member services Stephen Farrow.

"Key to that is offering access to quality education that can work around life on tour and cater to the different interests and needs of our member groups.

"Partnering with three world-class institutions is an exciting step for us in that process."

ATP’s education portfolio already included a partnership with platform Coursera, as well as University of Palermo and Indiana University East, which offer courses in English and Spanish.
