The European University Sports Association (EUSA) welcomed a representative from the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) to its headquarters in Ljubljana in Slovenia to discuss a potential partnership between the organisations.

Sports manager Miha Zvan represented the EUSA at the meeting, while Volker Bernardi, executive director of WFDF, was also present.

The meeting was held to establish initial communication between the two organisations, which could lead to an official partnership down the line if talks continue to be fruitful.

Following a presentation about the EUSA and its activities, an introduction to flying disc sports was given.

The parties discussed the possibility of including flying disc events such as frisbee at future EUSA competitions.

Recognised by the International Olympic Committee, the WFDF was formed in 1985 and has 93 members.
