France's Edward Levy secured a third win on the Global Champions Tour with a gold medal in jumping on home soil at the Champs de Mars in Paris.

With the Eiffel Tower in the background, Levy won his third event of the weekend with horse Uno de Cerisy, the 13-year-old bay gelding.

The pair finished ahead of Ireland's Denis Lynch, riding GC Chopin's Bushi, and Ireland's Mark McAuley with Miebello on the podium.

"My horse is fast over the ground and super careful so I could take some risk and today was our day," said Levy.

"The crowd and atmosphere here makes the sport back to how we like it.

"Jumping in front of the Eiffel Tower gives motivation with the home crowd."

Young talent Lucas Porter of the United States was just 0.02 seconds over the time allowed after picking up a time fault, ending his hopes of victory.

Three Irishmen and Levy made the time, with Lynch and GC Chopin's Bushi finishing in 37.71sec and McAuley and Miebello just behind on 37.72.

Michael Pender and HHS Fast Forward clocked a time of 39.93 for fourth.

Levy's best was 36.86 - enough to win the gold medal.
