Seven-time Paralympic champion Tatyana McFadden of the United States is set to make her first World Para Athletics Grand Prix appearance for more than 18 months when Nottwil in Switzerland hosts the latest event on the circuit this week.

McFadden, a winner of 23 World Marathon Major titles, has entered the 400 metres, 800m, 1500m and 5,000m T53 events at the Swiss venue.

Britain’s five-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft is also making her Grand Prix comeback after two years.

Cockroft is due to compete in the 100m and 800m T34 races.

Manuela Schaer of Switzerland, who has won 15 World Marathon Major events, will be among the other athletes to watch at the third Grand Prix of the season, along with her compatriot Catherine Debrunner.

A host of world champions are also scheduled to take to the track in the men's races.

Canada’s Brent Lakatos, Tunisia's Walid Ktila and Joshua George of the US feature on a start list headlined by double Paralympic gold medallist and nine-time world champion Marcel Hug of Switzerland.

The event in Nottwil opens tomorrow and is due to conclude on Sunday (May 16).
