Super League Triathlon (SLT) has announced significant broadcast deals ahead of the season-opening race in London later this month.

The SLT Arena Games - a hybrid of online and in-person competition - is set to be shown across 179 territories.

In the United Kingdom, the BBC Sport website and iPlayer streaming service will broadcast the London leg live.

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London will stage the first event of the season on March 27.

Other key deals include Sport1 winning the rights in Germany, L'Équipe becoming the French broadcaster and FloSports showing the SLT Arena Games in the the United States.

There will also be live coverage on beIN Sports across the Middle East, while Fox Sports Asia, Fox Sports Australia and and NENT in Denmark are also broadcast partners.

The second leg of the season is set to take place in Rotterdam in The Netherlands on April 18.

Last year, the SLT Arena Games debuted in Rotterdam, with its success leading to two more hybrid events this season.

Olympic medallist Jonathan Brownlee, world champion Georgia Taylor-Brown and long-course triathlete Lucy Charles-Barclay are all set to compete for Britain in London later this month.

The format sees athletes compete in three rounds of action - a 200 metres swim in an Olympic-sized swimming pool, followed by a 4-kilometre cycle and 1km run on static equipment.

Racing is then realised in the virtual world of Zwift.
