Sara Takanashi clinched back-to-back International Ski Federation Ski Jumping World Cup victories after winning today's event in Hinzenbach in Austria.

The Japanese star, who claimed her first win of the World Cup season yesterday, scored 234.1 points after managing jumps of 92.5 metres and 89.0m.

Takanashi is widely considered one of the greatest female jumpers of all time, earning a record four overall titles during her career so far, and today's result was a 59th World Cup victory.

"My jumps were technically very good this weekend and it was the key to success," she said.

"Although I am surprised about this 59th victory in my career, I now want more victories."
