Unbeaten pair Cameroon and Mali are both through to the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship.

Hosts Cameroon drew 0-0 with Burkina Faso in capital Yaoundé, which saw them end Group A with five points to the Burkinabe side's four.

Mali meanwhile beat Zimbabwe 1-0 in Douala.

Demba Diallo's 11th-minute goal condemned Zimbabwe to losing all three games at the tournament.

Zimbabwe's build-up was severely hampered by a COVID-19 outbreak during pre-tournament training.

Mali finished top of the group on seven points.

They will play the runners-up from Group B and Cameroon the winners, with that group concluding tomorrow.

The African Nations Championship is the continent's second-tier international tournament, only open to domestic-based players.
