Nomozov won the snatch despite failing his last attempt of 146kg, with his second round lift of 142kg enough for him to clinch gold. 

Emre Ozturk of Turkey failed a lift of 138kg to remain on 135kg and claim second place. 

Ukraine's Mykyta Rubanovskyi was the bronze medallist after a successful 133kg lift. 

Nomozov was then the victor in the clean and jerk with a lift of 178kg. 

Ozturk was again second best after a lift of 170kg, with Rubanovskyi earning his second bronze of the night with 165kg.

The podium remained the same for the overall standings.  

Nomozov had achieved a total of 320kg, followed by Ozturk on 305kg and Rubanovskyi on 298kg. 

Kelin Jimenez of Ecuador dominated the women's 76kg event, winning the snatch after lifting 95kg. 

American Alyssa Ballard took silver with 83kg, while Victoria Steiner of Austria finished as the bronze medallist on 82kg. 

Jimenez earned her second gold in the clean and jerk after her second round lift of 120kg was enough to triumph. 

Ballard and Steiner were again second and third, with the former managing 108kg and the latter 104kg. 

Jimenez was unsurprisingly the winner of the overall title with her total of 215kg. 

In second was Ballard with 191kg, followed by Steiner on 186kg. 

There was an intriguing battle in the men's 102kg, which was eventually won by Rakhat Bekbolat of Kazakhstan. 

Ali Shukurlu of Azerbaijan was the victor in the snatch, however, having impressed with a final lift of 145kg.  

Bekbolat clinched silver after a lift of 140kg and was closely followed by Szymon Ziolkowski of Poland on 139kg. 

Shukurlu was unable to maintain his form as the competition progressed with the clean and jerk.

He had to settle for his opening round attempt of 165kg, while Bekbolat took gold with a lift of 179kg. 

David Mercado of Colombia was the bronze medallist with 163kg. 

Bekbolat was announced as the overall winner with a total of 319kg.

Shukurlu was second on 310kg and Ziolkowski third on 301kg. 

Competition concludes tomorrow with the women's 81kg, men's +102kg, and women's +81kg.

Uzbekistan go into the final day with seven gold medals, three silver and two bronze. 

Mexico have seven golds, two silver and five bronze, while organisers Peru are on five gold, three silver and three bronze.
