Invitations have been sent to National Ski Associations prior to the rescheduled Ski Flying World Championships in Planica.

The competition in Slovenia was initially scheduled to take place in March, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

International Ski Federation (FIS) say organisers have worked tirelessly to prepare for the rescheduled event, which is due to take place from December 9 to 13.

The event will open with the team captains meeting on December 9, with training and qualification taking place the following day.

The Opening Ceremony will also be held on December 10.

Two days of individual competition will follow.

Preliminary entry lists should be sent by October 15, with final entry lists provided by November 15.

The FIS say COVID-19 risk management protocol will be provided to teams prior to arriving for the World Championships.

The invitation includes venue overviews, as well as accommodation and transportation for the event.

Accreditation, planned meetings and events are also included.
