The chief executives of two National Paralympic Committees in Oceania are to discuss their preparations for the postponed Tokyo 2020 during a webinar.

Both Fiona Allan of Paralympics New Zealand (PNZ) and Paralympics Australia's Lynne Anderson will speak of the unique challenges postponement has posed and answer audience questions during the online session.

The Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan is putting on the virtual event on September 9.

It is scheduled to last for an hour, including a 20-minute question-and-answer session.

Registration and precise details of timings are available here.

Australia finished 5th in the medals table at the Rio 2016 Paralympics, with New Zealand 13th.

Allan, who has been awarded an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit medal, was previously PNZ operations manager and led the organisation of the 2011 World Para Athletics Championships in Christchurch.

Anderson, who has been in her role since 2015, last year won the prize for leadership at the Australian Institute of Sport's Sport Performance Awards
