The Organising Committee has been set-up for the 2020 International University Sports Federation (FISU) World Forum in Budapest.

Due to take place from August 12 to 16 at the Hungarian University of Physical Education (UPE), the 15th FISU World Forum now has a team of ten members who will organise the event.

Head of PR and Marketing at UPE, Dániel Mezei, leads the Committee who recently met with the Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF).

The event was awarded to the UPE, one of the main centres for sport in Hungary, in March 2018.

Taking place every two years, and in years when a World University Games is not held, the FISU Forum is described as "a place to exchange ideas and best practices".

There are currently 140 participants from 42 countries registering for the 2020 edition which is expected to rise to more than 300 by the July 12 deadline.
