Norway won the under-23 mixed 4x5 kilometres relay as cross-country action concluded on day eight of the International Ski Federation Nordic Junior and Under-23 Cross-Country World Ski Championships in German town Oberwiesenthal.

Marte Maehlum Johansen, Håvard Moseby, Harald Østberg Amundsen and Hedda Østberg Amundsen combined to take victory in a time of 54min 40.5sec.

Russia's Hristina Matsokina, Sergey Ardashev, Denis Filimonov and Nina Dubotolkina finished second in 55:07.2, while Italy's Anna Comarella, Simone Daprà, Martin Coradazzi and Francesca Franchi came third in 55:20.7.

Men's and women's team ski jumping HS105 events were also held today.

Slovenia took the men's title after Žak Mogel, Jan Bombek, Jernej Presečnik and Mark Hafnar managed a total of 900.3 points.

The runners-up were Austria's Peter Resinger, Josef Ritzer, David Haagen and Marco Wörgötter with 871.3 points and third place was occupied by Germany's Luca Roth, Claudio Haas, Kilian Märkl and Philipp Raimund with 833.2.

In the women's event, Austria's Lisa Eder, Vanessa Moharitsch, Julia Mühlbacher and Marita Kramer came out on top with 800.7 points.

The silver medals went to Slovenia's Jerneja Brecl, Lara Logar, Jerneja Repinc Zupančič and Katra Komar with 740.5 points and the bronzes were won by Germany's Michelle Goebel, Josephin Laue, Pia Lilian Kuebler and Selina Freitag with 708.5.

Action in Oberwiesenthal is due to conclude tomorrow.

The men's team HS105/4x5km Nordic combined event and mixed team HS105 ski jumping competition are both scheduled to take place.
