Britain will look for success in their home event as the Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations tournament comes to the Morningside Arena in Leicester in an important warm up for this year's Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

The hosts are due to take Australia and the United States with the three teams playing each other twice in a round-robin tournament with the competition starting tomorrow and concluding on Sunday (February 23).

The winners of the group will advance straight to the final, with the winners of the match between second and third place meeting the top team in the last match.

The first day is scheduled to conclude with Britain's second game when they will play Australia, with the second day finishing with their second match against the US.

Each team will play twice a day with the final matches on Sunday determining the overall winners.

Last year, Britain finished second overall after losing out to world champions, Japan, in the final - an improvement from 2018 where they finished fourth out of four.

Both the US and Australia have participated in the tournament before when they competed in the inaugural tournament in 2018.

In a very close match, the Americans won 56-55 in the gold medal match with both not featuring last year.

The British team had a warm welcome from Premier League football club Leicester City, who they visited this week, meeting first-team players including Hamza Choudhury and Jamie Vardy.

The club's sponsor, King Power, will also lend its support to the Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations tournament as head sponsor.
