The Billiard Congress of America (BCA) and Matchroom Pool have launched the US Open Junior Pool Championship, which is set to take place in Las Vegas in the United States from April 16 to 18.

Set to be hosted at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Center, the tournament will feature 16 players invited by the BCA with the final eight finishers involved in a single-elimination tournament. 

The winner will receive free entry to the 2021 US Open Pool Championship with second and third receiving half-price entry to the Championships.

All three will also get free entry to the 2020 Junior National 9-Ball Championships.

"TV exposure as well as experience playing amongst the best players in the world under the best conditions, a dream come true opportunity that both the juniors and sport needs.

All junior players invited will be eligible to compete in World Pool-Billboard Association (WPA) junior events for 2020.
