The International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup have appointed sports technology business Techfront Australia for both women's and men's events in 2020.

The new partner will produce LED signage and provide management services for both competitions.

ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Local Organising Committee CEO, Nick Hockley said, "We are delighted to be working with Techfront to provide a unique match day presentation.

"This will include ‘double-sided’ LED at the semi-finals and final, ensuring spectators at the match as well as those watching via broadcast are provided with the best experience possible."

Neil Maxwell, CEO of Techfront Australia said, “Techfront Australia has a raft of domestic and international experience that we will draw on to provide the ICC with a world-class, best practice event. 

"We are hugely excited about working and growing this relationship with one of the world’s premier sporting organisations.”

More than one million fans are expected to attend the T20 World Cups, with the Women's World Cup taking place from February 21 to March 8.

The Men's World Cup will last a month from October 18 to November 15, involving 16 of the best teams around the world, with 10 in the women's competition.

Both the men's and women's finals will be played at the biggest cricket stadium in the world, the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The women's final will be played on March 8 on International Women's Day, where famous musician Katy Perry will perform during the final.

Australia's women's team will defend their title in their home nation, having won four of the six T20 World Cups.
