Ukraine enjoyed a clean sweep of the podium in the biathlon relay standing team sprint at the World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup in Altenberg and Dresden.

Oleksandra Kononova and Bohdana Konashuk ended in a time of 11min 13.1sec to win gold on the final day of competition in Germany.

Their team-mates Iryna Bui and Grygorii Vovchynskyi came home for the silver medals, clocking 11:54.1.

Bronze went to Oksana Shyshkova and Serhii Romaniuk and their time of 12:37.0.

In the sitting relay, the United States took home gold and bronze.

Kendall Gretsch and Daniel Cnossen took top honours, sealing gold in 14:14.7.

Silver went to Germany's home pairing of Martin Fleig and Anja Wicker, who ended in 14:29.5.

Aaron Pike and Oksana Masters joined their American team-mates on the podium with bronze, timing in at 14:47.9.

The next World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup will take place in Finsterau in Germany's Bavarian Forest, between February 1 and 8.
