Sweden's reigning Olympic champion Anna Hasselborg is on track to win a third Grand Slam of Curling event in a row after reaching the women's final at the Canadian Open.

The rink skipped by the Pyeongchang 2018 gold medallist will meet South Korea's Min Ji Kim for the title at Gallagher Centre in Yorkton tomorrow.

The men's final will be an all-Canadian affair with Brad Jacobs, like Hasselborg, also aiming for a third consecutive Grand Slam title.

Jacobs, the Sochi 2014 Olympic gold medallist, will meet John Epping in an all-Ontario clash after both rinks negotiated the quarter- and semi-finals.

Hasselborg's quartet saw off Japan's Olympic bronze medallist Satsuki Fujisawa 10-5 in the women's semi-finals after a 7-3 success over Switzerland's reigning world champion Silvana Tirinzoni in the last eight.

It means she is one victory away from adding to her Grand Slam victories at the Tour Challenge and National.

Kim reached the final the long way round after dropping into the last round of qualifying under the Canadian Open's triple knock-out format.

Her team defeated Scotland's 2013 world champion Eve Muirhead 6-5 to reach the quarter-finals and then knocked out Canada's Kerri Einarson 5-4.

In the semi-finals, the Koreans, who are playing at the event after promotion from tier two, saw off Russia's Alina Kovaleva 7-1.

Jacobs also tasted success at both the Tour Challenge and National.

In the last eight today he beat 57-year-old Canadian Glenn Howard, a four-time world champion, 8-4.

Epping saw off Scotland's Bruce Mouat 8-3.

The semi-finals saw a 6-3 win for Jacobs over compatriot Mike McEwen and a 7-4 triumph for Epping over Turin 2006 Olympic champion Brad Gushue in another all-Canadian affair.

"The boys have been playing great," Jacobs said.

"It feels well-deserved.

"I think we've got a really good handle on the ice and everybody is in a really good frame of mind.

"We're really working well together as a team."

Both finals are tomorrow.
