The European University Sports Association (EUSA) has announced plans for a special development fund in 2020.

The fund is part of EUSA's aim to strengthen and support its member federations and national university sport bodies.

It will be in cooperation with the European Universities Games 2020, taking place from July 15 to 25 in the Serbian capital of Belgradae.

EUSA's club of donors will be supporting the fund.

Active EUSA members that are still developing can apply to have access to the fund, alongside those with no or low participation in EUSA events over the past four years.

Applications are open until January 31.

EUSA also encouraged those interested in supporting the initiative to join their club of donors, which supports dedicated projects enabling further development of university sport in Europe.

To become a member, a minimum annual contribution of €100 (£85/$111) for individuals and €500 (£424/$556) for institutions is required.
