Lillehammer will play host to the first leg of the 2019-2020 International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Para Sport World Cup season this weekend.

Two days of Para-bobsleigh competition are due to take place in the Norwegian town.

It is the first of five stops on the IBSF Para Sport World Cup tour this campaign.

German town Oberhof will stage an event on December 13 and 14, while St Moritz in Switzerland and Lake Placid and Park City in the United States will take their turn in the New Year.

Canada's Lonnie Bissonnette won the overall IBSF Para Sport World Cup title last season, finishing on a total of 1,078 points.

Austria's Andreas Kapfinger came second with 890 points, while Great Britain's Corie Mapp ranked third with 868.
