Iran's Mohammadreza Abdolhamid Geraei beat Azerbaijan’s Sanan Suleymanov in the 72 kilograms final to earn his country a third and final Greco-Roman gold medal on the last day of the United World Wrestling Under-23 World Championships in Budapest.

Geraei triumphed 7-0 at the Hungarian capital's Ludovika Aréna.

Moldova’s Valentin Petic and Ukraine’s Maksym Yevtushenko were the bronze medallists.

Among today's other winners was Armenia’s Armen Melikyan, who defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Zholaman Sharshenbekov 11-7 in the 60kg final.

The bronze medals went to Russia’s Artur Petrosian and Iran’s Mehdi Seifollah Mohsen Nejad.

Today's three other finals saw Egypt’s Mohamed Ibrahim Elsayed Ibrahi Elsayed overcome Belarus' Aliaksandr Liavonchyk 9-0 at 67kg, Russia’s Milad Valerikovitch Alirzaev beat Croatia’s Vjekoslav Luburic 8-0 at 82kg and Finland’s Arvi Martin Savolainen defeat Georgia’s Giorgi Melia 5-3 at 97kg.

Elsayed's victory comes just 10 days after he won a gold medal at the World Military Games in Chinese city Wuhan.

Rounding off the 67kg podium were Ukraine’s Artur Politaiev and Iran’s Sajjad Ali Imentalabfoumani.

Georgia’s Aivengo Rikadze and Kazakhstan’s Yevgeniy Polivadov were the 82kg bronze medallists, while the 97kg bronze medals went to Iran’s Mohammadhadi Abdollah Saravi and Belarus' Dzmitry Kaminski.

In the team race, Iran came out on top with 122 points, with Georgia second on 121 and Russia third on 118.
