CSKA Moscow secured their first win of the Gloria Cup basketball tournament, as they ended Turkish side TOFAŞ Bursa's hopes of winning the championship in Antalya.

At the Gloria Sports Arena, the Russians led 46-31 before TOFAŞ fought back to take the game into overtime at 79-79.

Will Clyburn was named most valued player for CSKA as TOFAŞ fell to a second defeat in two Group A matches.

With CKSA and Teksüt Bandırma playing each other tomorrow, TOFAŞ finish bottom of the group and will contest the playoff for fifth position on Sunday (September 15).

In Group A, Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania earned their first win in Turkey with the slimmest of victories against Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta.

Zalgiris lost their opening match in overtime yesterday but bounced back to defeat the 16-time Turkish Basketball Super League champions 71-70.

Zach Leday was named most valued player, top scoring with 23 points for the Lithuanian side.

All three Group A sides have now won one match apiece, with Galatasaray facing Anadolu Efes tomorrow as the round-robin phase comes to a conclusion.

The finals day will take place on Sunday, with the group winners battling it out for the Gloria Cup basketball tournament honours.

The second placed teams in the group will contest the third place playoff, with the bottom clubs going head to head for fifth position.
