Germany's Alexander Nobis and Patrick Dogue claimed the men's team relay title on day two of the International Modern Pentathlon Union Pentathlon World Championships in Budapest.
The duo managed a total of 1,506 points at the Hungarian capital's Kincsem Park.
South Korea's Jung Jinhwa and Jun Woongtae finished second with 1,482 points, while Russia's Aleksander Lesun, the Rio 2016 Olympic gold medallist, and Danil Kalimullin came third with 1,475.
Competition continues tomorrow with women's individual qualification.
The Laser Run World Championships are running alongside the Pentathlon World Championships for the first time, with action taking place from Friday (September 6) to Sunday (September 8).
Around 1,000 athletes from 60 nations are expected to compete over the whole week.
