Jacinta Carroll of Australia was the winner in the women's jump event on the last day of the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) World Waterski Championships in Malaysia.

She reached 54.9 metres to triumph at the Putrajaya Water Sports Complex, with Hanna Straltsova of Belarus second with a jump of 53.5m. 

Third place went to Regina Jaquess on 51.2m, with the American back on the water after winning three gold medals at the Pan American Games in Lima two weeks ago.

Anna Gay of the United States topped the podium in the women's tricks competition.

She scored 10530 to do so, beating Natalia Cuglievan Wiese of Peru on 9570 and Giannina Bonnemann of Germany on 8740.

The men's slalom title went to Joel Howley of Australia, winner of a tie break against Britain's Frederick Winter and William Asher.

Winter finished with the the silver medal, while bronze went to Asher.
