The Polish rider could only come fifth in the men's B classification time trial as Vincent Ter Schure of The Netherlands claimed the victory.

Stephen Bate of Britain took second place with Adolfo Bellido Guerrero of Spain in third.

The women's B time trial was won by Britain's Lora Fachie, ahead of Belgium's Griet Hoet and Iwona Podkoscielna of Poland in second and third respectively.

On a day when the remaining time trial events were concluded, there was joy for Canada's Marie-Claude Molnar as she won the women's C4 race in front of a home crowd.

Molnar won ahead of France's Katell Alencon, while Anna Grace Taylor of New Zealand came third.

Crystal Lane-Bright won the women's C5 race, the British rider finishing ahead of Germany's Kerstin Brachtendorf and Samantha Bosco of the United States.

Women's C3 time trial victory went to Keiko Sugiura of Japan, with American Jamie Whitmore in the silver medal position and the bronze going to Australian Paige Greco.

China's Sini Zeng won the women's C2 time trial, beating Germany's Maike Hausberger and Yvonne Marzinke of Austria.

In the men's time trials, Daniel Gebru of the Netherlands triumphed in the C5 category, while C4 gold went to Russia's Sergei Pudov.

Britain's Finlay Graham won C3 gold and victory in the C2 category was claimed by Australia's Darren Hicks, while Ricardo Ten Argiles of Spain earned the C1 title.

The final event today was the team relay, won by the Italian trio of Paolo Cecchetto, Alessandro Zanardi and Luca Mazzone.

United States' Ryan Pinney, William Groulx and Alfredo Delossantos took the silver medal and  Spain's Israel Rider, Sergio Garrote Munoz and Luis Cascallana won bronze.
