The world's best in motocross, skateboarding and BMX will again be descending on the United States city for the event, due to take place from tomorrow until Sunday (August 4). 

Iconic moments in extreme sports have occurred almost every year at the Games, and fans will be excited to see who can emulate the likes of skateboarder Mitchie Brusco, who in 2018 landed his second ever 1080 to earn his first X Games gold medal.

The American returns this year, as does Britain's 13-time BMX gold medal winner Jamie Bestwick and Australia's Jackson Strong, who will be looking to emulate his extraordinary achievements from three years ago in Austin.

Strong won gold in Moto X best trick having just returned from hospital after he crash-landed on a double back-flip during the quarterpipe competition an hour previously.

Competition is scheduled to tomorrow with the BMX and skateboarding vert competitions, as well as the Moto X step up.

The finals of the women's skateboard park, Moto X quarterpipe, BMX big air and Moto X freestyle are set to follow on Friday (August 2), while Saturday (August 3) will feature the men's BMX park, Moto X best trick, skateboard big air, men's skateboard street, BMX Street, BMX Dirt and Moto X best whip.

Competition concludes on Sunday with the men's skateboard park, women's skateboard street, and the skateboard and BMX best trick contests.
