The 2019 World Para Dance Sport Championships in Bonn have received a major boost, thanks to the sponsorship of one of Germany’s largest private funding organisations, Aktion Mensch.

The social organisation distributes lottery revenue in the form of grants to improve living conditions of people with an impairment.

Well-known for funding Para sport events throughout Germany, it is claimed Aktion Mensch will play an important part in ensuring Bonn’s first Para sport World Championship will be one to remember.

"We are excited to partner with Aktion Mensch and know their support will play a huge role in the success of the World Para Dance Sport Championships," Camila Rodrigues, World Para Dance Sport’s manager, said.

"Aktion Mensch has a great reputation in supporting projects aimed at making for a more inclusive society for people with an impairment.

"As we both share similar missions, we now have an opportunity to do something very special at the home of the Paralympic Movement."
