The main training hall at GB Taekwondo’s National Centre has had a makeover using mats from the 2019 World Championships in Manchester.

The event was held last month at Manchester Arena with hosts Great Britain ranking second in the medal table behind winners South Korea.

"The 2019 World Championships have left a lasting impression," a GB Taekwondo tweet, accompanied by a video showing the makeover, reads.

"Our taekwondo hall at the National Centre has had a bit of a makeover using mats from the epic event."

Britain claimed three gold and one bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships.

Jade Jones and Bianca Walkden triumphed in the women’s under-57 kilograms and over-73kg categories respectively, while Bradly Sinden topped the men’s under-68kg podium.

The solitary bronze medal went to 16-year-old Aaliyah Powell in the women’s under-53kg division.

South Korea topped the medal table with four golds, one silver and two bronzes.
