The 32 duos competing in the main draw of the men's and women's doubles at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Beach Tennis World Championships have been confirmed after the conclusion of qualifying in Terracina today.

Four spots were available in each of the main tournament draws at the Italian resort with 26 pairs jostling in men's qualification with 11 women's pairs battled for the remaining spots.

In the men's qualifying, the top three men's seeds all reached the main draw, including Antonio Miguel Ramos Viera of Spain, winner of the tournament last year with Mikael Alessi.

Viera, top seeded in qualifying with new partner Nicolas Gianotti of France, cruised through their first match with 6-0, 6-4 victory over Italian pair Manuel Giovino and Gianmarco Palmieri.

They were then similarly untroubled by another Italian duo, Nicolo Sidoti and Andrea Serantoni, winning 6-3,6-2 in their afternoon match.

Second seeds Simone Burini and Lucas Cramarossa came from a set down to defeat Riccardo Manento and Andrea Reginato in an all-Italian encounter, 4-6, 6-4, 10-6, in their morning game.

Things were more straightforward in the second game, as they beat Brazil's Ricardo Bordignon and Italian Erik Sgubbi 6-4, 6-2.
