Guam is hosting the 2019 United World Wrestling’s Oceania Cadet, Junior and Senior Championship

Guam is hosting the United World Wrestling’s Oceania Cadet, Junior and Senior Championship that starts tomorrow and runs until April 21 (Sunday).

The event is being held at Leo Palace Resort Zeifro Banquet Hall.

The competition will consist of Greco-Roman, women’s wrestling and men’s freestyle and will be conducted in accordance to UWW rules and regulations.

“I would like to extend my Hafa Adai welcome to the athletes, participants and federations of this year’s championship,” said Tony Aquino, President of the Guam Amateur Wrestling Association.

Australia are sending a 15-strong team comprising Carl Jankowitz, Phoenix Pate, Artemios Trepca, Trent Jaeggi, Taylor Pickering, Chad Cumic, Sean Keating, Jake Treyvaud, Thomas Barns, Nick Delatovic, Mehrdad Tarash, Justin Holland, Naomi De Bruine, Jessica Lavers-McBain and Irene Symeonidis.
