Jaffa Fruit has been announced as the latest sponsor of the 2019 Netball World Cup in Liverpool.

Aligning itself with Jaffa’s aims to help people live healthier lives, the event brings the brand that is part of AMT Fruit on board alongside title sponsor Vitality.

Ticket sales for the Netball World Cup, due to take place at the English city’s M&S Bank Arena from July 12 to 21, recently surpassed 89,000.

"We’re so pleased to announce another fantastic sponsorship for this July’s event," Lindsay Impett, the 2019 Netball World Cup event director, said.

"Jaffa have long been encouraging people of all ages to lead more active lives, so their brand values are strongly aligned with our own here at the World Cup.

"With tickets selling fast and a huge buzz around the event, it’s a great time for Jaffa to be on board."

Lorna Norrington, senior commercial manager from AMT Fruit, added: "As an existing partner of England Netball, we are very excited to be extending our involvement in netball through this iconic event.

"The Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 promises to be a great sporting event, the perfect place to build on our partnership with England Netball, alongside promoting our key brand value of living a healthy lifestyle."

Vitality was announced as the title sponsor of the 2019 Netball World Cup in November 2018.

The confirmation came amid the ongoing support of the company, which specialises in private medical insurance sold to the United Kingdom market, for the sport and the England netball team.

It was announced in October 2018 that Vitality had signed a three-year extension of its partnership with England Netball.

The company is also the title sponsor of the Netball Superleague, the top-level netball competition in the UK.
