The Netherlands’ Chris Vos clinched gold as the World Para Snowboard World Cup Finals in Klövsjö concluded.

The Dutchman emerged the winner of the men’s LL1 snowboard cross event at the Swedish venue.

He achieved a time of 55.78 seconds to top the podium.

Austria’s Reinhold Schett and Rene Eckhart rounded off the medal positions, the duo having ended in times of 56.01 and 1min 1.07sec, respectively.

The Netherlands had already been assured of gold in the women’s LL2 competition, due to having all three entrants in the event.

Newly-crowned banked slalom world champion Lisa Bunschoten overcame her team-mates to win, finishing in 59.49.

Renske van Beek was second on 1:04.02, while Anne Garttener placed third in 1:08.79.

The men’s LL2 title was earned by Canada’s Alex Massie, after a closely-fought battle with rivals from the United States.

Massie finished in 51.60 to take the gold ahead of Zach Miller, the American clocking 53.34.

Miller’s team-mate Keith Gabel held off Australia’s Ben Tudhope to win bronze.

Austria’s Patrick Mayrhofer topped the standings in the men’s UL competition by winning in 52.27.

Russia’s Mikhail Slinkin ended just behind in 54.90.

Simon Patmore won bronze ahead of fellow Australian Sean Pollard.
