Reigning champion Bubba Watson will start his World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play title defence in an all-American Group with the competition beginning tomorrow in Austin.

Watson, a two-time Masters champion, will play compatriots Jordan Spieth, Billy Horschel and Kevin Na in Group 15 at the Austin Golf Club in the United States. 

The round-robin stage begins tomorrow, with the winner of each of the 16 groups progressing to the knock-out stage on Saturday (March 30).

The victor will then be announced on Sunday (March 31), collecting $1,745,000 (£1,320,000/€1,546,000) in prize money.

America's Tiger Woods, the 14-time major champion, is making his first appearance at the event since 2013 and will be aiming for a record fourth title. 

He features in another all-American group, playing against Patrick Cantlay, Brandt Snedeker and Aaron Wise.

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy, winner of this month's Players Championships, is in Group Four against England's Matthew Fitzpatrick, South Africa's Justin Harding and American Luke List. 

World number one Dustin Johnson of the US faces fellow American Chez Reavie, Japan's Hideki Matsuyama and South Africa's Branden Grace.
