Chile's Miranda Rodrigo and Peru's María Alejandra De Osma won the respective men's and women's overall water skiing titles on day four of competition at the 2019 South American Beach Games in Rosario in Argentina.

Rodrigo triumphed with a score of 2.766,44 at Puerto Roldán, beating home favourites Tobías Giorgis and Ignacio Giorgis to the top of the podium.

Tobias Giorgis finished second with 2.744,74, while brother Ignacio came third with 2.336,57.

In the women's event, De Osma prevailed with 3.000,00.

Argentina's Valentina Patricio was the silver medallist with 1.901,52 and the bronze went to Colombia's Daniela Vérswyvel García with 1.863,59.

Open water medals were also awarded today at the Blue Stadium.

Among the winners was Peru's Maria Bramont in the women's 10 kilometres event.

Argentina's Julia Lucila Arino was the runner-up with Brazil's Aricia Fatzaun Peree third. 

In the equivalent men's event, Ecuador's Estéban Enderica came out on top.

Venezuela's Diego Vera took the silver medal, while compatriot Wilder Carreño clinched the bronze.
